My name is Johnson Yu. Below was my original bio from 2014.

“I am a chef residing in Vancouver, BC.  After many years in the industry, I decided to take the Provicial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP) as an opportunity to expand my skill set and maybe one day become a cooking instructor.  I have been told numerous times that teaching should be something to consider since I seem to have a natural ability help others get better within the kitchens I have worked in.  This blog will be a tool for me and for others in the future to reference the many different topics involved in adult learning.”

Boy, how things have changed. I am no longer a chef by trade, but still have a passion for food. I also have decided to finish the PIDP because I found it quite enjoyable going through all the courses and am almost finished.

I went to school in 2015 and took an Administrative Assistant course and now work as an Administrative Assistant at a consulting firm in the Health and Benefits department. Hey you never know, I may want to teach something in the Administrative field someday!
